A website html code clean-up...

I was an artist without a website. So recently I had a web site created for me. I created the art and so forth and had the thing built. I liked it a lot, except there were these bounding boxes around buttons and text that showed up on PCs and should not have been there. Despite many tries, the person who built it was not able to fix it.

I absolutely would not have a successful website if not for Fast Forward Marketing & PR. Rich had to "twist my arm" (Ouch!) to convince me to put it up, and I kept grumbling that it was probably a waste of my money. Boy, was I wrong about that one!  I made a year's worth of profit in less than 3 months, running this site part-time, and it's been a load of fun. The great thing about a retail site is that the money comes to you NOW--not in 90 days like most of my wholesale accounts.  And the profit is much higher with less investment required on my end.

How exciting to see our website listed on the first page of Google! Thanks to Fast Forward, we have come from page 8 to the first page as well as being on the first page of Yahoo, MSN and probably some more that I don’t even know about.

We have a beautiful site which does a great job of promoting our product. But nobody was seeing it. Now, it is being seen by anybody who has the least interest in wood floors, and, serves to enlighten people on our business. The site also culls those who want a quality product. Those who do not want something special do not call. Those who are more discriminating do. This allows our salesman to spend his time with those most likely to buy.

Surveys

In mid-2007, I looked in a directory to find a company that could do surveys for us and help us really understand what our clients wanted, and how we could defeat a negative perception in our public, and increase our business. 

I’ve been working here 10 years now, and the company has been around for 30, but we’ve never done a full survey campaign before. I knew that we kept missing the mark for a reason.  

When I looked in the directory, Fast Forward stood out to me right away.  Their ad and their presentation used all the marketing smarts that I would hope a company would know, if they were pro marketers!   This was the first and only call I made, to find a survey company.   I talked to Rich Byrd who was the “marketing genius” I had been looking for.  He asked all the right questions and delivered exactly what was promised. He took us through the entire process, guiding us in each step and the result is that we have survey information that is a virtual gold mine.  For the first time, we are going to be able to really capture our marketplace.   With the priceless data we got from these surveys, we are initiating a rebranding and many changes in our way of operating.  This has saved us time, money and many future mistakes that we would have made if we hadn’t worked with them.

Rich is a pro and also very fun to work with.  He could finish all my sentences in terms of what I wanted for my company, and what needed to be fixed.   I would recommend FastForward to anyone who really wants to expand. My experience with them has been wonderful!
