Hosting provides computer space (a “hosting server”) for your website and its connection to the Internet. This is separate from creation of your website or registration of your domain name (your website’s address). The thousands of hosting services available range from free to hundreds of dollars per month. Some websites require features not provided by all hosting services.

As a convenience to our clients, we provide hosting, as a reseller for one of the largest hosting companies in the United States. We researched extensively and chose them because of their extremely high security, excellent 24/7 support, “fat pipelines” (fast connections), extra features, and moderate price. You only have to deal with us and “the buck stops here”. We provide two levels of hosting, “basic” and “premium.”

1. We handle all tech support (8AM-6PM weekdays and almost any other time in case of emergency).

2. We will, if you wish, set up and handle changes in e-mail addresses, and you get almost unlimited e-mail addresses for no extra charge. We help you get your e-mail working on your computers, and in setting up mailing lists (so you can do bulk emails), auto-responders, forwarders, etc.

3. You have access to basic web statistics on visits, page views, referrers, search terms, etc.

4. We provide you all hosting information, so you can take control of your site at any time.

Our premium hosting service provides the following additional services:

Automatic monitoring of your website every 5 minutes, lets us know if your site goes down so we can take action if needed (rather than your hearing about it after it has been down for who knows how long!). Guaranteed uptime is 99.9% - your hosting for the next month is free if we don’t meet this target.

6. Sophisticated web statistics which enable you to track exactly where your visitors are coming from, what pages they visit or exit from, and so on (free up to 25,000 page views per month).

With our premium hosting service, we continue to make changes in your website, up to one hour of work per month, at no extra charge.  Most changes are made within one business day.  This alone is worth more than the hosting fee. More extensive changes would be done on a project or hourly fee basis, however, one hour per month is more than enough for any ordinary updates needed.

There is a one-time charge of $45 to set up the hosting, plus a recurring charge of $45 per month, for the premium hosting service. So your cost is $90 for the first month and $45 each month thereafter. Basic hosting service is $19.95 per month (plus the $45 set-up charge the first month) so it is $64.95 for the first month and $19.95 each month thereafter. Hosting fees are charged automatically each month to your debit or credit card. Cancellation requires 30 days written notification. Hosting fees for e-Commerce sites (with shopping carts) are higher. Fees and services are subject to change without notice.
